Our client provides cloud based services to the Healthcare and Data Organisations.
Due to continued growth, we have a requirement for 2 Platform Infrastructure Engineers to join their office in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will work on multiple platform projects, getting involved in design, implementation and maintenance.
PROFILE
You will have:
- 3 years min. proven experience in a similar role
- Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL/ CentOS) and Windows (2008 R2+)
- Experience with VMware enterprise products (vCentre, vRPA, vCloud)
- Experience of configuration management systems and related scripting languages (Puppet)
- Experience with at least one dynamic scripting language (Ruby Perl, Bash, PowerShell or Python)
- Network management experience
- Working experience in a change managed environment and understanding of CM fundamentals.
